Marie Zoumanigui is a New York City-based actress originally from Conakry, Guinea, located in West Africa. As a young child, she spent her time watching Bollywood movies on television, despite the language barrier, and imitating her favorite African singers. At the tender age of 8, Marie and her family relocated to New York in 1997. The first memorable performance the young Marie watched was Kate Winslet's performance in Titanic. Later, it was "The Truman Show", which was the first film she watched at a movie theater. These two movies played an influential role in Marie becoming inspired to pursue a dream of being an actress. She's appeared in several films since she first began acting at the age of 15 and continues to follow her dreams.
